The weather isn’t really playing fair for the Bristol Ballon Fiesta this year, the international event during which hot air balloons from around the world take over the Bristol sky every summer. The organisers decided to have an additional mass ascent on Thursday morning. We dragged ourselves out of bed at silly hour to cross the Suspension Bridge in time for the 6am start. We love being in the middle of the action and seeing the balloon envelopes being inflated and the burners tested. The magic in the air is definitely worse the early start!
