Things have been changing over recent months on Corn Street, a popular spot in the heart of Bristol’s Old City. Classy new bars and speak-easies have recently opened and as cocktail lovers, we’re excited to see them arrive.
One of the new venues is the latest branch of Dirty Martini. With its mix of neon lights and art deco inspired interior, it is unapologetically Instagram-able.
True to its name, it boasts a wide selection of cocktails which we were lucky enough to sample, alongside some tasty mini burgers and other treats, such as crispy tomato and basil arancini, samosas and vegetable spring rolls.
Among our favourite tipples were the ‘Blueberry and Lavender’ (Beefeater gin, Briottet crème de cassis, lavender, pomegranate, Supasawa, Ms Betters Bitters), the ‘Spiced Apple’ (Beefeater gin, Licor 43, apple, green apple shrub, Ms Betters Bitters) and the ever popular ‘Espresso Martini’ (Absolut vodka, Kahlua coffee liqueur, Teichenné butterscotch schnapps, espresso).
We also tickled our tastebuds with a ‘Mango & Chilli Martini’ (Absolut Mango vodka, Briottet liqueur de mangue, citrus, mango, chilli)!
With its spectacular angel wings tree sharers (see the pics below), there is no doubt that Dirty Martini will quickly become a popular fixture for after work and weekend drinks with friends!
